Please Help Further Our Understanding
I can't say this often enough - this is a new field. And we don't have all the answers! Especially when it comes to the Envisioning phase.
We're still at the bleeding edge of this thing, which means that if you're here, you're the kind of person (like the rest of us) who jumps in & flails around until you find a path that works (at least for the moment).
We're all doing that.
So don't be shy if you don't feel complete, confident & polished. That's simply not the phase we're in. If you DO feel those things about this field, I'd wonder if you've wandered into the wrong break-out session!
If you have any experience at all in moving a network from un-mapped to even minimally mapped (or even to a willingness to map) - you have more experience than most. Which means everyone would benefit from your input! And your concerns.
I strongly encourage you to share with the community:
- What has worked.
- What have you tried that didn't work.
- What questions you're still not able to answer.
- What discoveries you've made.
- Where you're still struggling.
Let's turn this flailing into a discussion so we all learn more & faster.
Because - I believe - the world needs far more of the insights these maps can enable than it is getting. And that's a need we can do something about. And we need them sooner rather than later!
