Approaches to Mapping People AND Organizations

A network is often made up of a combination of organizations and individuals - with fuzzy boundaries between them.
Organizations (especially Foundations) often have a lot of power to make or break network and understanding how that power plays out may be essential.

On the other hand, individuals have social influence, generate the energy and do the actual work in networks. And if a key influencer moves from one organization to another, they often take their relationships with them, so mapping persons and their connections is also essential.

This Miro board shows the four sumApp-based options for mapping both in Kumu. We also had a TechTalk session that walked through the new dual-elements feature you can watch here.

Put your cursor on top of the board, left-click with mouse, and then zoom in and out to read and navigate this board.
